In a recent interview from 05:40, Kenneth Okonkwo, a chieftain of the African Democratic Congress (ADC), commented on the political trajectory of some prominent figures and the role of party platforms in sustaining political relevance ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He stated, “Before he came to ADC his political career was already dead, we gave him a lifeline and we’re already moving without him.” Okonkwo used the statement to highlight what he described as the ADC’s role in offering political inclusion and relevance to individuals who might otherwise have faded from the political scene.

Speaking during a televised discussion, Okonkwo reflected on the dynamics of political entry and exit, arguing that some politicians only regain visibility when they join new political platforms.
