Oseloka Obaze, a former PDP Chieftain and 2017 Anambra State gubernatorial candidate has reacted after the 2023 presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi had a meeting with United States consultant general, Rick Swart.
According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle on Tuesday May 5th, 2026 he pointed out that the conversation was about nation building.
Peter Obi, the former ADC Chieftain had been on the spotlight after he identified with the Nigeria Democratic Congress, NDC few months to the general elections.
His departure from the ADC, it can be recalled, had triggered massive public debate, as many argued that his support base had diminished.
However, the engagement with the United States consultant general indicated that support might come from unexpected sources, as pinpointed by Oseloka Obaze.
