Kunle Edun, a Senior Advocate of Nigeria, has spoken about the suspect Oghenemine Ogidi who was killed by ASP Nuhu Usman.
In an interview with Channels Television, Edun said police officers were allegedly involved in the death of Ogidi’s elder brother. He said Ogidi’s death at the hands of policeman is very traumatic for his mother.
Edun added that the way ASP Usman boldy shot and killed Ogidi suggests that he may have carried out extrajudicial killings before
In Edun’s words: “Oghenemine’s elder brother died in circumstances that allegedly involved the police. So we are going to investigate that. And then for another son of this same woman to also die in similar circumstances is very traumatizing. Let me go back to that issue of the video recording. If you look at ASP Nuhu Usman the way he cocked the gun, that could not have been the first time he was doing such a thing and the way he was hailed, it looked like it was a pattern and that is very disturbing”…Read_More…
