Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide has made a striking comment regarding the recent judgement delivered by a federal high court in Abuja.

According to the erstwhile special adviser on media to former President Muhammadu Buhari, no court had the jurisdiction to entertain cases bordering on internal party affairs.

Her submission was contained in a recent post which she shared on her official X account on Thursday April 30th, 2026.

This came following a spectacular judgement delivered by Justice Joyce Abdulmalik of the federal high court, Abuja which held that the leadership of Senator David Mark and Rauf Aregbesola was null and void.

Lauretta Onochie, widely known for her outspokenness, pointed out that the supreme court, the apex court in the land had already ruled on the case, hence, any ruling from a lower court cannot stand.
