The Commissioner for Information and Strategy, Prince Kassim Afegbua, has stated that he has access to several top leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC), including President Bola Tinubu and Vice President Kashim Shettima.
Speaking in an interview from 34:55 with SYMFONI TV on Thursday August 6, 2026, Afegbua pointed out that he has access to about 80 per cent of APC governors and has their telephone numbers.
Afegbua said despite having access to the party’s top leaders, he would not make public comments that could undermine the APC. He said his aim is to add value to the party and help strengthen its popularity and political strength.
In Afegbua’s words,
“I have access to every topmost individual in APC. 80% of the governors, I have access to them, I have their telephone numbers. The president, I have access to him. The vice president, I have access to him.”
