Atiku Abubakar, a former Vice President of Nigeria, has stated that the northern region is his political base just as the southeast is the political base of Peter Obi and the South-south is the political base of Rotimi Amaechi.
In an interview from 23:13 with Arise TV, Atiku said no political figure in the north has more popularity than him. He said he has more voter support in the north than even well-known politicians like Aminu Tambuwal, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Nasir El-Rufai.
