Nana Usman has stated that she was not informed when her husband, Lt. Col. Sadiq Mohammed, was arrested along with other military officers over an alleged coup plot.
In a video from 0:44 shared by Punch, Nana said her husband, Mohammed, was posted to Maiduguri where he was leading the fight against Boko Haram. She said she became very worried when her husband’s phone was suddenly switched off and she couldn’t reach him
Nana said the situation caused her serious distress and she was even hospitalized. She said she later saw reports on social media that her husband and other officers were arrested other an alleged coup plot.
