In a recent video from 12:35 on Facebook, Nigerian cleric, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has forecast major political changes in northern Nigeria, warning of a possible shift in allegiance away from the ruling party and internal divisions among key political actors.
In a recent address, Ayodele claimed that support for the All Progressives Congress may decline significantly in the North within weeks. “In a couple of two to three weeks, the northerners will adopt the African Democratic Congress, not APC,” he said. “They will not want anything APC in the place.”
According to him, the ruling party faces mounting dissatisfaction unless it urgently strengthens its leadership and strategy in the region. “Except APC gets another set of strong soldiers who can turn things around and make the party stronger in the North, the northerners don’t want APC any longer,” Ayodele warned.
The cleric also directed caution toward Bola Ahmed Tinubu, stating that the president must be careful about those within his inner circle. “Tinubu has a lot of work to do, and the people he is bringing close to himself are deceiving him,” Ayodele alleged, suggesting internal misguidance could worsen the party’s challenges.
Ayodele further spoke about potential cracks in political alliances, predicting divisions that could reshape the electoral landscape. “There will be separation. The alliance will break, and they will go separately,” he said. “The two parties will part ways, and both sides will conduct elections on their own.”
He also issued a warning regarding possible tensions involving prominent figures, urging prayers to avert crisis. “They should pray so that there will not be a multi-crisis between forces and leadership interests,” he stated, hinting at conflicts that could destabilize political structures if not managed.
Reiterating his broader concern, Ayodele emphasized the need for reform to avoid stagnation. “If there is no change, then the country is not going to have progress,” he said. Read_More…
