Former Kaduna state governorship candidate, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to react, following the ongoing events surrounding the 16th Emir of Kano State, Aminu Ado Badero and Emir Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II. He stated that it is not advisable for Kano state to have Emirs at the both federal and state levels.

Recall that there has been tension in Kano State for some days now, following the refusal of Aminu Ado Bayero to step down as the Emir of Kano State and the announcement of the court to stop the reinstatement of Sanusi Lamido Sanusi II as the Emir of the State.

And so chieftain of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), Shehu Sani in reaction to such drama in Kano State, took to his official X account to state that it is not good for the state to have a federal Emir and a State Emir.

Shehu Sani wrote;

“Please and please, it’s not good to have a federal Emir and a State Emir.”

Recall that Shehu Sani had few hours ago, taken to his official X account to propose that a governor of a state can appoint an Emir, Oba or king but only the National Council of Traditional Rulers can remove him….S££ MOR£
