Lauretta Onochie, a Chieftain of the African Democratic Congress, ADC and former presidential aide recently reacted after a mammoth crowd converged to celebrate and support the former minister for justice, Abubakar Malami. According to the statements which were shared on her official X handle, she disclosed the significance of the support.
The former attorney general of the federation and minister for justice, Abubakar Malami was recently on the spotlight after a mammoth crowd gathered to support him in Kebbi State.
The former attorney general, who celebrated his birthday, attracted a large number of supporters who converged to support him despite the controversies that trailed his recent arrest and detention.
Reacting, Lauretta Onochie, a prominent member of former president Muhammadu Buhari’s cabinet and ADC Chieftain in a recent statement which was shared on her official X handle, however, showered encomium on the former justice minister.
According to her statements, she pointed out that Abubakar Malami, refusing to temporarily step aside from politics, took to the podium in his homeland of Kebbi State to receive a resounding support from his people.
She further pointed out that the mammoth crowd that gathered during the birthday celebration will not be voting for the APC, hence, the APC should be concerned.
