Mahdi Shehu, a public affairs analyst, has criticised the administration of former Kaduna State Governor Nasir El-Rufai, alleging that it violated the rights of vulnerable citizens during his eight years in office.
Speaking in an interview from 17:00 on PAPSHOW on Monday, July 20, 2026, Shehu alleged that the administration dismissed teachers and health workers without compensation. He also claimed that some residents’ properties were taken over despite existing court orders.
Shehu stated that the alleged actions affected many ordinary citizens and raised concerns about the protection of people’s rights under the former governor’s administration.
Mahdi stated,
