Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to African Democratic Congress, ADC Chieftain and Elderstateman Atiku Abubakar has raised serious concerns over the actions of Nafiu Bala Gombe amid the recent crisis rocking the ADC. According to the statements which were shared on his official X handle, he pointed out that Abia and Edo State chairmen had already been bought over by him.
Nafiu Bala Gombe, an erstwhile member of the African Democratic Congress, ADC was recently on the spotlight after he challenged the leadership of the party led to by Senator David Mark.
His actions, which led to an ambiguous judgement delivered by Justice Uchechukwu Onyemenam of the appellate court prompted the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC to de-recognize the Senator David Mark led faction.
However, Paul Ibe, the senior special adviser on media to ADC Chieftain and Elderstateman, Atiku Abubakar in a recent statement which was shared on his official X handle, raised serious concerns over the actions of Nafiu Bala Gombe.
According to his statements, he pointed out that the erstwhile ADC member was enlisting state chairmen to accompany him to INEC in order to recognize him as the bonafide chairman of the party.
Paul Ibe, in his remarks, pointed out that Abia and Edo State chairmen had already been bought over. This came after the duo announced the suspension of ADC congress in their respective states.
