3. Cancer

Cancer is the second leading cause of death in adults over 65, with 413,885 deaths in 2014. While we can’t completely prevent cancer, we can reduce our risk by not smoking, drinking less alcohol, eating a balanced diet, and avoiding processed and fried foods.

4. Arthritis
