Phil Mulryne isretired professional footballer who played for Manchester United and the Irish football team. He was famous for been part of United squad that had so much success in the 90s. He played for clubs like Norwich, Cardiff, and Leyton Orient before retiring in 2008.
The news of him turning a priest triggered lots of reactions, as he decided to enter the priesthood a year after retiring from football. According to reports, he was ordained as a priest in 2017.
3. Gavin Peacock
Gavin Peacock is a famous ex-footballer who played as a midfielder and striker for famous football clubs like QPR, Bournemouth, Newcastle and Chelsea. He retired from football in 2001 following a short loan stint with Charlton.
