Nyesom Wike, the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, has issued a stern warning to contractors about the street lights on Bola Ahmed Tinubu Way. He said he went for early morning inspection around 1 a.m. and he noticed that the lights were turned off

In a video shared by Channels TV from 9:28, Wike warned that if the contractors fail to keep the lights on at night, they will be blacklisted and will no longer receive any contracts in FCT.

In Wike’s words: “Early morning around 1 a.m. I was going round, they put off the street light in that Bola Ahmed Tinubu way. That is unacceptable to us so if that happens again, I am going to blacklist them and they won’t get any job in FCT again.
