In a recent video on Facebook, renowned spiritual leader, Primate Elijah Ayodele of the INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has cautioned believers against relying on humans during times of difficulty, emphasizing the importance of maintaining a prayerful connection with God.
Speaking during a recent sermon, the cleric addressed the dangers of placing one’s trust in people instead of seeking divine intervention. He explained that when individuals fail to communicate with God in prayer during challenging situations, they expose themselves to the risk of having their problems magnified by others.
He warned that people are often quick to gossip or exploit the vulnerabilities of others, turning private issues into public discussions.
The cleric encouraged believers to cultivate a habit of prayer, even in moments when it feels difficult, reminding them that God is ever-present and ready to provide solutions. “No matter how heavy your heart is, take your burdens to God. He alone can bring you peace and answers,” he advised.
According to him, “In a situation whereby you can’t communicate with God in prayers when faced with problems, if you depend on human they will table your matter and multiply your problems.”
