In a bold statement on his verified Twitter account, Mosab Hassan Yousef, a prominent political activist and son of a founding Hamas leader, called on the Iranian people to seize what he describes as a “golden opportunity” to overthrow the Islamic regime.

His remarks come amidst growing tensions and unrest in Iran, where discontent with the government’s policies has been on the rise.

Yousef encouraged the Iranian populace to take decisive action when the “heads of evil” begin to fall. He urged them to fight with all they have by engaging in civil disobedience, refusing to collaborate with the authorities, striking, and effectively shutting down the economy. “Disobey, don’t collaborate, strike, shut the economy, and paralyze the system,” he wrote, emphasizing the need for coordinated efforts to weaken the regime’s grip on the country.

Yousef, known for his outspoken stance against oppressive governments, called the Iranian people’s struggle a global one. “The entire world is counting on your bravery,” he wrote, showing solidarity with those fighting for freedom in Iran. He also invoked a spiritual tone, asking for divine guidance in their efforts, stating, “May the Divine force guide you!”
