One of the chieftains of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP and former Kaduna lawmaker who represented Kaduna Central at the National Assembly, Senator Shehu Sani has reacted after Nigerian pilgrims in Saudi Arabia protested over their BTA that was reduced.
In the post that the former Kaduna lawmaker made on his official X handle on Sunday, he said the pilgrims who are from FCT, protested after their $500 BTA was reduced.
Shehu Sani said the issue should be addressed by their Hajj commission. He said promising the pilgrims $500 and now shortchanging them is wrong. He said the people have paid and they deserve to receive good service.
Senator Shehu Sani wrote on his page;
“The protest embarked upon by the pilgrims from the FCT in Saudi Arabia over the cut in their BTA should be addressed by their Hajj commission. Promising them $500 and now shortchanging them is wrong. They have paid, let them be given a good service”….Sée Móre
