The founder of Anap foundation and Anap jet, Atedo Peterside has reacted to the nationwide protests that started in many parts of the country on Thursday.

His statement is coming after President Bola Ahmed Tinubu addressed the nation on Sunday.

In a post that he shared on his official X handle, he urged the protesters to suspend the protest. He said the President has heard them and he has spoken.

He said if the federal government fails to reduce the cost of governance, the protesters can regroup and call them to order.

Here is what he wrote on his official X handle;

“Please end the protests today (Sunday). Poor Nigerians cannot endure protests for more than a few days. You have made your point. Your massive turnout has frightened many people. FG is not deaf. The President has spoken this morning. Perhaps even the Legislators have heard you also. If they collectively fail to significantly reduce the cost of governance, stop wasteful expenditures and tighten their own belts or lead by example, please then re strategize, regroup and call them to order again. God bless you all”….Sêe_Morē
