An APC chieftain, Remi Omowaiye, has criticised the management of resources and infrastructure in Osun State, saying the government has not delivered enough results despite the funds it has received.

Speaking in an interview from 16:49 on TVC, Omowaiye said Osun State has taken in about ₦1 trillion over the past three years but argued that there is little visible development to show for it. He also addressed the issue of electricity, noting that many people blame the federal government for power challenges without realising that state governments now have the capacity to improve electricity supply within their areas.

He pointed out that several Southwest states, including Ekiti, Ondo, Lagos, Ogun, and Oyo, have taken steps to manage their power sectors, adding that Osun appears to be lagging behind. Omowaiye maintained that despite the support coming from the federal government, the state has not made significant progress in key areas.
