In a recent interview from 12:40 on TV Platinum, political activist Omoyele Sowore criticized the leadership record of former Peter Obi, highlighting what he described as shortcomings during his tenure as governor and questioning the decisions of his supporters.

During the interview, Sowore stated, “Obidients, shame on your principal; when he governed Anambra 8 years, he lacked sense.” He used the statement to underscore his view that Obi’s leadership in Anambra State was ineffective and that his current political endorsements should be critically examined by Nigerians.

He further noted that the behavior of political followers often mirrors the effectiveness and character of their leaders, stressing that blind allegiance can perpetuate poor leadership and hinder national progress. Sowore argued that public officials must be held responsible for their actions and decisions, and that voters should prioritize competence over popularity.
