Nigerian Senator and social commentator Shehu Sani took to his verified Twitter account to congratulate Saudi Arabia on its 94th National Day, highlighting the kingdom’s remarkable achievements despite its geographical challenges.

In his message, Sani noted Saudi Arabia’s lack of natural rivers and yet the absence of issues regarding food or water scarcity. He praised the country’s efficient resource management and its development over the years.

In his tweet, Sani wrote, “On the Saudi Arabia’s 94th National Day; A country without a single river and with no problem of food or water. We appreciate your charitable contributions to Nigeria in the areas of Health, Education, and infrastructure for over five decades. Congratulations on this anniversary.”

The senator’s message reflects the long-standing bilateral relationship between Nigeria and Saudi Arabia, with the kingdom playing a significant role in supporting various sectors in Nigeria. Over the past fifty years, Saudi Arabia has provided Nigeria with aid and investment in critical areas, particularly health, education, and infrastructure.
