In a major development, Hezbollah has officially acknowledged the death of its ex-leader and senior terrorist, Hassan Nasrallah, following a precise Israeli airstrike in Dahiyeh, a suburb of Beirut.

The announcement, made by the militant group, confirms that Nasrallah, who had long been a key figure in Hezbollah’s operations and ideological leadership, was targeted and eliminated by the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF).

The airstrike, which occurred in the early hours of the morning, was part of Israel’s ongoing campaign against Hezbollah’s military infrastructure in Lebanon. Dahiyeh, a stronghold of Hezbollah, had been identified by Israeli intelligence as a crucial location housing high-ranking members of the organization. The IDF’s targeted strike reportedly hit the area with pinpoint accuracy, successfully eliminating Nasrallah, a man who had long been at the helm of Hezbollah’s activities across the region.

Hezbollah, which had maintained a degree of secrecy surrounding its leadership’s movements, confirmed the loss with heavy implications. Nasrallah’s death represents a significant blow to the group, which has relied on his leadership for nearly two decades. His influence over Hezbollah’s military and political strategies had made him a key adversary to Israel, and his elimination is expected to have a profound impact on the group’s operations.
