Chidi Lloyd, Chairman of Emohua Local Government Area in Rivers State, has revealed his plans beyond politics in an interview with Arise TV from 10:07. As his tenure approaches its end, Lloyd, a PhD holder in law and a soon-to-be double PhD holder in conflict management and security studies, intends to leverage his academic background.
With degrees from the University of Dundee in Scotland and Rivers State University, Lloyd emphasised that his scholarly pursuits demand a certain standard of behavior. He hinted at a return to academia, showcasing his multifaceted personality as a politician, academic, and scholar.
According to him, “I’m not only a politician; I’m an academic; I hold a PhD in law and another PhD in conflict management and security studies. I hold a master degree in conflict management studies and security studies. One from the University of Dundee in Scotland and another from Rivers State University. So for a man as learned as I am, there’s a minimum standard of behaviour, which includes that from the day I was elected into office, I knew when my tenure would terminate.”…..Sēe Morē
