Chidi Lloyd, former Chairman of Emohua Local Government, has made startling allegations against Rivers State Governor, Sir Sim Fubara. Lloyd claims that Fubara directed protesters to invade the Port Harcourt residence of FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike, sparking fears of escalating tensions.

Lloyd vowed that supporters of the FCT Minister would respond to the alleged provocation, warning that the governor’s actions could ignite ethnic conflicts and undermine the region’s long-standing peace and unity.

In an interview with Channels TV from 8:00, Lloyd criticized Fubara’s leadership, accusing him of amassing wealth and properties through questionable means during his tenure. He also condemned the governor’s alleged attempts to exploit ethnic differences for political gain, emphasizing that the people of Rivers State would not tolerate such actions.

Lloyd further alleged that Fubara had fraternized with protesters upon his return from a two-week European trip, directing them to target Wike’s home. He threatened to mobilize supporters to storm Fubara’s new site in Fortune Avenue, where the governor is building on 32 plots of land.

Lloyd’s statements highlight growing tensions in Rivers State, with concerns about ethnic bigotry and political exploitation threatening the region’s stability.

He said in an interview with Channels TV, ”The governor was away on a roller coaster in Europe. He left the state for over two weeks, only to come back and fraternize with protesters. He directed protesters to go to Wike’s house, we will also organize our people to storm his new site in Fortune avenue where he is building on 32 plots of land. So enough is enough. He (Fubara) does not have the capacity to cow anybody here and he knows it. “….Sêe_Morē
