Ikenna Azomchine, the Obidients General for the New Nigeria movement, has reaffirmed the group’s unwavering support for Peter Obi, stating that they would follow him even if he joins the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP). In an interview with Arise News, Azomchine emphasized that the Obidients movement is synonymous with Peter Obi, and their trust in him remains unshaken.

Azomchine, a seasoned political actor, acknowledged that Nigerians are suffering and hungry for change. While extending respect to President Tinubu as the nation’s leader, he criticized the administration’s failure to deliver on promises to improve the country’s situation, which has remained stagnant since the Buhari era.

In his words;

“The Obidients movement is Peter Obi; If Peter Obi goes to PDP today. We’ll all follow him. We believe the Peter Obi will drive Nigeria to where we want it to be. Don’t forget that some of us have been in this Political Party business. We’re not children. Nigerians are hungry. We don’t want to be unnice to the President, because he’s already our President. We need to accord him some respects but he had promised Nigerians that he’ll change things from the Buhari time to Something new, but you can see that he’s failing”….S££ MOR£
