A Nigerian Lawyer and Political Analyst, Frank Tietie, has stated that the Nigerian government should be feeling grateful that they are aware of the planned nationwide protest which is scheduled to start from August first. Frank Tietie noted that those who put forward the notice for the protest did a favour to the government.
Frank Tietie made this known during an interview with a journalist on Arise Television. During the interview from From 5:05 To 5:45, Frank Tietie said, “government is lucky that certain people put up notice that they will protest from August first. This government is unnecessarily afraid of the planned protest, but they should not be afraid.”
“The government should be afraid of the type of thing that happened in the Arab spring when a man poured petrol on himself and set himself on fire because he felt that hardship was too much, and it triggered protests across Arab region.
