The Former Secretary to the Government of the Federation, SGF Mr Babachir Lawal, has slammed a presidential aide, Mr Bayo Onanuga, for accusing Peter Obi of planning mayhem in Nigeria.
While speaking, Mr Babachir Lawal made it known that he doesn’t know the problem Bayo Onanuga has with the Igbos, stating it clearly that Igbos are good people. He went on and noted that Igbos are peaceful people who do business in different parts of the country.
According to Daily Post, Mr Babachir Lawal made this disclosure on Thursday, while addressing newsmen. He went on and noted that President Tinubu is good man, noting that he surrounds himself with sycophants who will not tell him the truth.
He said: “I really don’t know what Onanuga’s problem with Igbos is. Igbos are good people. They are our classmates from primary, secondary schools to university. They are our business partners; they are our neighbors.”
The former SGF went on and made it known that any individual who is asking Tinubu to arrest Peter Obi doesn’t mean well for him, stating it clearly that arresting Peter Obi is like someone swallowing cyanide with his or her own hand.
