A Former Chairman of the PDP in Anambra State, Dan Ulasi has expressed confusion over the apparent change in the FCT Minister, Nyesom Wike’s stance towards Governor Sim Fubara, as Wike had previously spoken positively about him.

He recalled being introduced to Sim Fubara by Wike in Port Harcourt, with Wike using complimentary language similar to how Rotimi Amaechi, a former governor, had previously introduced Wike to him. He lamented the unfortunate situation, expressing uncertainty about Wike’s intentions and whether he aims to emulate political strategies similar to those used by Bola Tinubu in Lagos.

He said in an interview with Arise TV from 14:48, ”Wike is a young man who has followed me for a long time. And a lot of people came and asked me why am keeping quiet on the crisis in Rivers State because this is a man who respects me very much. He (Wike) invited me to Prlort Harcourt and that is how I met this Sim Fubara. And the kind of good word he used was exactly the good words Rotimi Amaechi used in introducing the same Wike to me when he was his Chief of staff. So when this crisis started, a couple of my friends in Rivers State said, Dan please intervene.

I said I have not reached him since he became minister. And I have a tendency, when my friends are in government I don’t go to them. A couple of governor who are very close to him, apparently he’s talking to me through them. And I told them to tell him to come to Enugu and let us talk. Because there are things Wike told me about this young man and I’m wondering what has changed. I don’t want to comment on that any further because i think it’s subjudice. A lot of things are in Court. But it’s unfortunate, nobody knows whether he wants to do what Tinubu did in Lagos.”….Sêe_Morē
