In a recent interview on Channels Television from 16:22, Hon. Stephen Osemwegie, President of the Save Nigeria Group USA, strongly criticized the All Progressives Congress (APC) government for what he described as a failure to confront the reality of the ongoing killings in Nigeria. He accused government officials of attempting to mislead both Nigerians and the international community about the true extent of the crisis.

Quoting the headline, Osemwegie stated, “Daniel Bwala and the APC government don’t know that the U.S. government has more information than them.” He explained that the United States has real-time intelligence on the insecurity in Nigeria, including the identity of the perpetrators and the locations of repeated attacks. According to him, it is an insult to the U.S. authorities when Nigerian officials claim that “nothing is happening,” despite overwhelming evidence of massacres, destruction of churches, and displacement of citizens.

Osemwegie further said that the U.S. government is closely monitoring developments in Nigeria and that the intervention of President Donald Trump has forced the issue of insecurity back to the center of global attention. He maintained that the ongoing killings cannot be justified or covered up, urging the Tinubu administration to act decisively.

He emphasized that the Save Nigeria Group USA will continue to push for accountability and truth. According to him, denying the crisis only weakens the credibility of the Nigerian government before the international community. “It is time to stop the propaganda and confront the terrorists,” Osemwegie said, adding that the U.S. government “knows far more than the APC wants Nigerians to believe.” View, More,
