Senate President Godswill Akpabio has revealed how he once confronted a professor over a female student’s grades when he was a student union leader in the university

Speaking in a video shared by Viable Television from 10:47, Akpabio explained that he walked into the professor’s office and warned him that there would be consequences if the student was unfairly failed. He said eventually, the professor passed the student and later approached him to tell him that the female student had received a B+

Akpabio said that some professors intentionally lose or withhold female students’ exam papers to coerce them into visiting their offices for inappropriate reasons. He also said that he has always been a strong advocate for women’s rights and will continue to support them for the rest of his life.
