In a recent interview from 20:12 on Symfoni TV, on Thursday, July 9, 2026, Abayomi Arabambi, a member of the Labour Party National Working Committee (NWC) under the Julius Abure faction, criticized the leadership style of Abia State Governor Alex Otti. He alleged that the governor’s political approach has not reflected the national character that the Labour Party should represent.

Arabambi said political leaders should ensure that their administrations and political structures accommodate people from diverse backgrounds. He argued that inclusiveness is essential for any leader seeking to build a broad-based political movement.
