Presidential candidate of the African Action Congress (AAC), Omoyele Sowore, has hinted at plans for a broader political campaign ahead of the 2027 general election after taking a walk through Millennium Park in Abuja.
Sowore made the remark in a post shared on his social media platforms, where he suggested that his visit to the popular recreational facility in the Federal Capital Territory was symbolic of a larger vision for governance in Nigeria.
According to him, the outing was more than just a casual walk, describing it as part of a bigger movement aimed at transforming the country.
“Today we took a walk through Millennium Park, Abuja. But beyond the walk, something bigger is cooking, something that will make good governance look as natural and accessible as a walk in the park for every Nigerian,” Sowore wrote.
The AAC standard-bearer used the opportunity to urge Nigerians to make informed choices in future elections, emphasizing competence, courage, and what he described as genuine change.
“Vote wisely. Vote for competence. Vote for courage. Vote for genuine change,” he added.
Sowore, who has consistently positioned himself as an alternative to Nigeria’s mainstream political establishment, has intensified his political messaging in recent months following his emergence as the AAC presidential candidate for the 2027 election.
