Former Kaduna state governorship candidate, Shehu Sani has taken to social media to opine that a governor of a Northern state should be the one to nominate a king in the Northern region of Nigeria, but only the National Council of Traditional Rulers should be allowed to dethrone the king in such region.
The Peoples Democratic Party’s (PDP) chieftain who made expressed such opinion through his official X account few minutes ago, stated that in the next constitutional amendment, it should be stated that a governor can appoint an Emir, Oba or king but only the National Council of Traditional Rulers can remove the Emir, Oba or king.

Shehu Sani finally asked his followers if they agree or disagree with such proposal.
Shehu Sani wrote;
