Israeli Energy Minister Israel Katz has issued a stark warning regarding a new and dangerous threat posed by Iran, which is attempting to establish an eastern terror front targeting Israel’s major population centers. According to Katz, Iranian Revolutionary Guard units are collaborating with Hamas operatives in Lebanon to smuggle weapons and funds into Jordan.

This move is seen as an effort to destabilize the Jordanian regime and expand Iran’s influence in the region.

Katz highlighted that these smuggled weapons are being transported across the eastern border into Judea and Samaria, particularly into refugee camps. This is part of a broader strategy by Iran to create a pro-Iranian Islamic terror front in these areas, similar to what has been done in Gaza and Lebanon. The ultimate targets of this strategy are major Israeli cities, including Tel Aviv.

Katz expressed deep concern over the situation, stating that the Iranian axis of evil effectively controls refugee camps in Judea and Samaria through its proxies. He noted that the Palestinian Authority is increasingly powerless to act against this growing influence.

In response to these developments, Katz called for immediate and decisive action. He emphasized the need to take down terror hubs like the Jenin refugee camp, advocating for a thorough operational campaign to dismantle the terror infrastructure in these areas. Katz stressed that this is not just an Israeli issue but a shared interest of many regional states and the entire free world, as it is crucial to halt the spread of Iran’s influence….Sèe_Mōrè
