Federal Capital Territory Minister Nyesom Wike has criticized Peter Obi over his comments about President Bola Tinubu’s response to the abduction of students in Oyo State.

Speaking during a media parley on TVC News from 4:08, Wike questioned Obi’s claim that Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde did not receive a phone call from the President after the incident. Wike accused Obi of turning a serious security issue into politics. He suggested that Obi was acting as a messenger for the Oyo governor by publicly discussing what he claimed Makinde told him, while ignoring other conversations that may have taken place.

Wike further questioned whether Obi believed such arguments would convince Nigerians to support his presidential ambition, insisting that public debate should focus on concrete actions rather than political claims.

In his words, “Is it how Obi thinks that they will vote for him? It’s by telling Nigerians the president didn’t call Seyi, that was what Seyi told me….See More
