A report that was published on the official X account of Punch on Tuesday, July 7, 2026 has captured the moment the former Vice President of Nigeria, Alhaji Waziri Atiku Abubakar was criticizing the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
This came after it was reported that the Tinubu’s administration budgeted the sum of N1,400,000,000 for the National Commission for Almajiri and Out-of-School Children Education to construct roads in Ogun state.
In the report that surfaced online, the former Vice President stated that there are so many allegations of corruption against the administration of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. Atiku said it is either Tinubu is an absentee President or an accomplice. The former Vice President said channelling funds meant for an education focused agency into road projects is cruel.
