One of the aides of Peter Obi, Dr. Moses Paul has revealed the response that the former governor of Anambra state gave them after they said they wished a scenerio whereby he would be the presidential candidate of PDP while Prof. Yemi Osinbajo would be the presidential candidate of the All Progressive Congress APC.
In a post that Dr. Moses Paul made on his official X handle on Wednesday, he said before the 2023 presidential election, he and his group approached Peter Obi to hear his view on what they had thought and he responded by telling them that he believes Yemi Osinbajo shares a vision for a progressive and hopeful Nigeria just like him.
Here is what Dr. Moses Paul wrote on his official X handle;
“In 2022, my group and I had hoped for a scenario where Mr. Peter Obi would emerge as the PDP candidate and Prof. Yemi Osinbajo as the APC candidate, believing it would be a win-win for Nigeria. We approached Mr Peter Obi and mentioned it, his response to us was profoundly excellent and exceptional. He said “I wish God will grant our wish for the future for a better Nigeria.
