According to report by DAILY POST on Tuesday May 26, 2026, the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Nentawe Yilwatda, has stated that the ruling party is not in conflict with opposition parties such as the African Democratic Congress (ADC) or the Nigeria Democratic Congress (NDC), but is instead observing their internal challenges.

Speaking during a live interview on Channels Television’s politics today on Monday, Yilwatda said the APC remains focused on governance and internal party organisation rather than engaging in political battles with the opposition.

He noted that the challenges facing opposition parties are largely internal, pointing to issues of unity and coordination.

He added that the APC is not involved in any effort to destabilize the opposition, but is instead concentrating on strengthening its own structure ahead of future elections.
