In a recent video from 6:00 shared on Symfoni TV, Martins Amaewhule, the Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly, spoke about political loyalty, party unity, and support for the All Progressives Congress ahead of the 2027 general elections in Rivers State.
During his address to APC supporters at the party’s primaries in Obio/Akpor Ward One, Amaewhule stated, “We are not going anywhere; we will stand here for the APC and President BAT.” He made the statement while reaffirming the commitment of party members in Rivers State to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the APC leadership.
Amaewhule explained that APC supporters in Rivers State remain united and determined to strengthen the party’s position across the state ahead of future elections. According to him, members of the party have continued to work together at the grassroots level to mobilize support and maintain political stability within their communities.
He further noted that the APC has continued to provide leadership opportunities for Rivers State politicians at the national level. Amaewhule also praised party stakeholders and supporters for their loyalty and participation during the primaries, describing the turnout as a reflection of the party’s growing strength in the state.
The Speaker of the Rivers State House of Assembly urged residents, especially eligible youths, to register for their Permanent Voter Cards ahead of future elections. He stressed that voter registration remains important for citizens who want to actively participate in the democratic process and contribute to leadership decisions in the country.
Amaewhule also encouraged party faithful to continue mobilizing support across wards and polling units, adding that the APC remains focused on expanding its support base in Rivers State. According to him, the party’s renewed hope agenda under President Tinubu continues to attract support from many residents across different communities.
He further commended the peaceful conduct of party members during the APC primaries and described the exercise as evidence of political maturity among supporters. He added that Rivers State APC members were prepared to remain united while working toward future electoral victories.
