Popular singer Jaywon has issued a public appeal to social media critic VeryDarkMan (VDM), urging him to end his ongoing feud with Afrobeats star Davido.
In a post shared on X (formerly Twitter) on November 4, 2026, Jaywon reminded the critic that the singer had previously supported his movement. The singer emphasized that past support should count for something and noted that not every disagreement needs to escalate into a public dragging.
The post, which has since garnered over 147,000 views and more than 1,300 likes, comes amid an ongoing exchange between VDM and Davido, which recently saw fellow singer Samklef weigh in with harsh words.
The post read: “VDM, my brother, let’s not forget that Davido once showed love and supported this movement. That alone should count for something. Not every disagreement has to end in dragging. I honestly don’t know how things got this far, but as someone who genuinely loves and supports what you do, I’m appealing to you, my brother. Please, let this stop.”
