One of the chieftains of the African Action Congress, AAC, Omoyele Sowore has revealed that he was invited to participate in the National Summit that was held in Ibadan but he declined.
This statement was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
This is coming after leaders of the opposition parties assembled in Ibadan to speak about the forthcoming presidential election in 2027.
In the post that Omoyele Sowore made on his page, he said he rejected the invitation to join the summit because he doesn’t like to pretend.
The human rights activist said he can’t attend a meeting with men and women who held the country to ransom for years.

“I was invited to attend the so called Opposition Summit in Ibadan, but I declined.
