In a recent video from 23:33 shared on The Volume Pod, Blessing Oladeji, Nigeria Data strategist and Public sector innovator, spoke on Nigeria’s evolving political dynamics, the role of data in elections, and how strategic alliances could influence the 2027 general elections.

During the interview, Oladeji stated, “If you have Peter Obi and Kwankwaso on the ballot, their victory margin will be about 53%.” He made the remark while explaining how predictive models built from nationwide survey data point to a strong electoral advantage for such a coalition.

He explained that the projection is derived from a broad-based sampling of respondents across Nigeria, ensuring that the data reflects diverse political opinions rather than a regionally skewed perspective. According to him, combining strong political figures significantly improves the chances of defeating an incumbent.

Oladeji noted that both Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso have established voter bases, and a joint ticket could consolidate support across multiple regions, creating a more formidable opposition.
