Chizea made the disclosure during an interview from 5:26 on Arise News on Sunday, September 27, 2026, while speaking about corruption and the handling of government procurement.
According to Chizea, some governors and senators allegedly approached Maduka to purchase vehicles and asked him to increase the official prices so they could benefit from the additional amount.
“They come to him to purchase vehicle and they say how much is it and he says N40million and they will say make it N80million. And the man says no, he won’t do that,” Chizea said.
Chizea explained that Maduka, who founded and chairs Coscharis Group, declined to participate in the alleged arrangement.
He further said that after Maduka rejected such requests, some of the politicians allegedly turned to other individuals or channels to acquire the vehicles.
