Asari Dokubo, a prominent figure in the Kalabari kingdom, has shared a moving video on his Facebook page, expressing his heartfelt gratitude to notable figures who supported him during a difficult period in his life. Dokubo poignantly revealed that he faced a near-death experience, metaphorically “buried alive” by former President Olusegun Obasanjo, but credited divine intervention for his survival.

Dokubo warmly acknowledged the support of several prominent individuals, including former Governors Donald Duke and Bola Tinubu, as well as former President Goodluck Jonathan. He particularly lauded Tinubu’s instrumental role in helping him overcome his struggles, describing him as the most outstanding of his supporters.

However, Dokubo also noted the absence of support from former Governor Peter Obi during his challenging times, clarifying that he has no relationship with Obi.

In Dokubo’s words: “Obasanjo buried me alive but God resurrected me and in that period people like Bola Tinubu, Donald Duke, Goodluck Jonathan and several others stood by me. The most outstanding of them was Bola Tinubu. I don’t have any relationship with Peter Obi, he was not there in my hours of travails”…..Sée Móre
