The presidential candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Atiku Abubakar has urged the people of Osun state to vote for the candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Najeem Salaam.
This statement was contained in a viral video from 2.08 that was posted on the official X handle of the ADC presidential candidate on August 10, 2026.
Atiku Abubakar made the statement while addressing a mammoth crowd at the Mega Rally that was organized to support the ADC governorship candidate in Osun state.
In the video that surfaced online, Atiku Abubakar recalled how the people of Osun state voted for him during the 2023 presidential election and how he was able to defeat President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Atiku Abubakar asked the people to extend the same gesture to Najeem Salaam in the forthcoming governorship election in Osun state.

“I came here during my presidential campaign and you voted for me and I defeated Bola Ahmed Tinubu. I have come again to appeal to you to vote for ADC”.
