Rolland, who is the only son of his parents, revealed that his wife initially appeared angelic, but he soon discovered deep-seated family patterns where daughters do not remain long in their husband’s houses.
He admitted ignoring multiple red flags during their courtship, including warnings from his mother and close friends who advised him against the union.
Rolland also disclosed that he abandoned his Tunisian ex-girlfriend, a white woman who spoke only French and Arabic, due to parental concerns about communication barriers. He now describes that decision as the greatest mistake of his life, wishing he had never met his current wife.
His Words: “ The person I married is a Yoruba lady. It would have been better if I had never met her in my life. If you saw her, you would think she is an angel, but in reality, she is evil. I was angry with her because I initially thought she was the cause of all the trouble in our marriage. However, I later discovered that the problem was beyond her, I had married into a family where their daughters do not stay long in their husbands’ houses.
While we were dating, I saw many things that should have made me end the relationship, but her mother was using charms to manipulate me. My own mother advised me not to marry her, yet I refused to listen. My friends also warned me against the marriage, but I still ignored their counsel.”
