One of the chieftains of the Labour Party, LP, Prof. Pat Utomi has reacted after it was announced that the Prime Minister of India, Narendra Modi has been re-elected for a third term in office.
His reaction was contained in a post that he shared on his official X handle on Wednesday.
Pat Utomi commented after Bayo Onanuga, the Special Adviser to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Information and Strategy, made the announcement.
In a post that Bayo Onanuga shared on his page, he said President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has congratulated the Prime Minister of India on his victory in the parliamentary election.
Bayo Onanuga wrote on his page;
“President Bola Tinubu has congratulated Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, on the victory of Modi’s coalition – the National Democratic Alliance in the parliamentary election. The victory paves way for Modi’s third term as PM, equaling the record of Jawaharlal Nehru, India’s first Prime Minister”.
Reacting to the report, Pat Utomi recalled the encounter he had with Modi in 2014. In the post that he shared on his page, he said he is curious how his global south initiative will impact the world for greater justice and human progress.
Prof Pat Utomi wrote on his page;
“As Modi starts a new journey as PM in India, I reflect on the hope that was so palpable when in 2014, as candidate, he flew into the Art of Living Foundation, Ashram in Bangalore to visit the guru, Sri Sri Ravi Shanka.
