Nigerian actress and filmmaker Queen Oluwa has dismissed claims that her husband forced her out of their home, clarifying that she made the decision to leave the marriage herself. The actress said her departure was a personal choice influenced by her husband’s prolonged absence from home, stressing that she could no longer cope with the situation.
Speaking during an interview from 6:33on Talk To B on Friday, 24 July, 2026, Queen Oluwa explained that there was no incident of being sent away by her husband, contrary to what some people may have believed. Instead, she said she walked away because she was unhappy with a marriage in which her husband was frequently away for days at a time, leaving her alone at home.
Sharing her experience, the actress said: “My husband didn’t send me out of the house. I left on my own. He doesn’t stay at home and I have no time for that. You cannot just leave me at home and go for days. I will leave so I left.”
According to Queen Oluwa, her decision was based on what she considered unacceptable in a marital relationship.
