In a recent video on YouTube, reverend Father Ejike Mbaka has issued a strong denial of recent allegations made against him on social media by a woman identified as Ogechi. Addressing the claims during a church service, the outspoken Catholic priest distanced himself from the accusations and expressed deep concern over what he described as a deliberate effort to tarnish his name and undermine his ministry.
The accusations include claims that Fr. Mbaka was involved in the use of native doctors and that he fathered children out of wedlock. In response, he firmly declared his innocence, stating that he had never committed such acts. He emphasized that he was speaking publicly before the altar of God to clear any doubts surrounding his character and urged the accuser to present verifiable evidence if any exists.
Fr. Mbaka stated that the seriousness of the accusations demanded more than mere hearsay, calling on Ogechi to back her claims with facts. He warned that failure to do so would have spiritual consequences, which he believes will manifest in due time. According to him, the issue transcends personal insult and enters the realm of spiritual warfare, as he believes the accuser’s actions are guided by malicious intent.
He also rejected any private apology, insisting that any retraction must be made publicly, just as the accusations were. The priest said he remains committed to truth, justice, and his calling as a spiritual leader. He cautioned that those who seek to defame servants of God for personal gain or attention will face the weight of divine justice.
According to him, “Listen—because some of them are saying, “If it is not true, deny it.” So I am standing here before the altar of God to deny it, and I await the so-called Ogechi to submit that evidence. Otherwise, karma will hammer her life. May the Lord whom I serve continue to deliver me. And she also spoke about me having children here and there. She must provide the same evidence. Otherwise, that girl’s name will turn to “Sorry.” She will become a product of lamentation, knowing I serve a living God. I have told her—don’t apologize in secret.”
